[laughter] i was chided by both. but here's the deal. i wish we had gone to the public policy standpoint. people who thought that was necessarily popular were wrong. there was a strong conservative argument, i pay my mortgage. there were people that were victimized by sub-prime loans and some people who bought a house and then it went up in property and they took out a home equity loan embodied both. in the end i don't think there was much we could have done. >> to both of you disagree? you are both nodding your heads now. >> we have the fundamental belief of fairness. if y

this directly contradicts the comments made by president obama that we could keep our existing program. they had affordable health care that they liked but they didn't get to keep that. and i ask, is this right or is this just for this group of people. these 28,000 citizens of tennessee are now forced to find new coverage plans on the health care website there are people out there, this is not fair and just for. let me turn to another piece. they did their own unit testing and cms was responsible for the end to end testing or the systems integrated testing, making sure that each unit worked properly with the next unit. now, that testing failed and every contractor has said that cms made that decision for the launching of the website. you claim you didn't know there were surge problems with the website. cms is the project manager on this and cms called the shots either there was company management on your part or cms's part, those you work with or ignored the fundamental concepts taken into account when this was built. i want to know if -- i want to know why if sufficient systems integr

the question is, did you do an article on president obama's first election about you now john mccain wanting to have the private financing more public financing and mr. obama ended up not doing it and i don't think anybody ever knew where the money came from. >> host: andy kroll? >> guest: we do know where his money came from because in terms of the money he raised for his campaign it was a record-setting amount, more than $700 million something like 715 million from 2008. we know where it came from because it was disclosed in me know who raised the dollar amounts because of the so-called super fund-raisers were named by the campaign but the caller is right. president obama said he used public financing and then he opted out and john mccain a longtime advocate of campaign finance reform felt a little burned around that and that's something that we did cover and we covered it again in 2012 looking at how much president obama relied on big donors. looking at postelection how organizing for action be rebooted version of the campaigns has moved donors by offering access to the president.
